I’ve been trying to improve my art lately, but I really don’t know how to go about it. I’ve been trying to draw different things, but I usually just don’t know what to draw.
Then I started thinking- what if I took my favorite show, Avatar The Last Airbender, and illustrated a scene from each episode?
This would of course, be a massive undertaking. There are about 80 episodes in all. That’s a lot of art! But it would give my attempts in art some focus… And even if I didn’t finish the project, my art would probably improve somewhat.
So, uh. Thoughts?

“I love General Iroh, he reminds me of Maes Hughes from fullmetal alchemist. They are both people who I look up to because they are the type of father I want to be when I have kids, to be there always for my son, even if he does act how Zuko acts.”
Welcome to Hou Tian, an Avatar: the Last Airbender Roleplay forum. In 2008, our forum originally started after the series’ end, with three groups in mind: The Dawn - those who supported Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko in their restoration of the world, The Original People of the Flame - conservatives from the Fire Nation intent on regaining their Imperialist power, and The Jade Shark, a loosely organized cell of Anti-benders intent on ridding the world of those who held power over them, by any means necessary. Now, with the move of our forum, the timeline has grown, and the Jade Shark has evolved to fit the new, canon, Equalists. Play in the aftermath of Sozin’s Comet, eight years after the overthrow of Fire Lord Ozai, or play seventy years after Aang’s time, in the world of Korra, the newest Avatar.
Your choice: To build up the world of the White Lotus, and support the Avatar, or to bring Aang’s work to more collisions, more disagreement, and more imbalance. Play an original character or apply for a canon. When the world is in your hands, what will you do with it?
